Nestled on 500 acres in scenic Mt. Carmel, SC, the Little River Lodge and Bungalow is a family-friendly retreat center designed for connection, recreation, and outdoor fun.
Formerly known as The Little River Plantation, this historic property was once a hunting club and hosted waterfowl, deer, turkey, quail, dove, and pheasant hunts. In 2023, the Beiler Family purchased the land and began transforming it into a place where families could gather, unplug, and create lasting memories surrounded by the raw beauty of nature.
We prioritize comfort and rest, starting with high-quality bedding to ensure a great night’s sleep.
The Lodge sleeps up to 20 guests across 5 bedrooms, each with its own remote-controlled climate system for personalized comfort. It also features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, cozy living room, and a real wood-burning fireplace for those cooler evenings.
The Bungalow, just steps away, offers accommodations for 11 additional guests with 5 bedrooms, its own kitchen, laundry facilities, and a game room with a pool table — a perfect hangout space for teens and kids.
Outdoors, you’ll find:
The Cook Shack, a cooking area with a pellet smoker, gas grill, Blackstone flat top griddle, and convenient serving area
The Pavilion, a covered outdoor dining area with picnic tables
Miles of wooded trails for walking or riding
A large pond for fishing or kayaking
